Interactive Maintenance Aids Organization & Ensures Advance Planning

August 8, 2007, Warwick, NY – ConnectedContractors.com now offers an Interactive Maintenance Planner for homeowners that centralizes information about the property’s maintenance to a single source.  The Interactive Maintenance Planner includes a means to store web sites of companies in the homeowner’s area, contact information of the service providers they have chosen to work with, written proposals and awards/change orders, appointment requests, confirmations, project notes and invoices. The Planner offers a way for the homeowner to organize a budget plan by month and by item.  It also offers home maintenance tips, including what should be done and when, and coordinates service schedules based on the customer's needs.

Using the Maintenance Organizer, homeowners can establish a Fixed Maintenance Plan for each service their home may require (For example: Homeowner wants the furnace serviced each year in September).  Email reminders are automatically generated a month prior to enable time for scheduling.  Each year a new reminder will be sent until the Plan is deleted or edited.  The contractor that is providing the service receives an annual courtesy reminder as well.

Once a homeowner has requested a Fixed Maintenance Plan, the service provider can view the details of the Plan and agree to accept the opportunity.
